Orchard Toys Catch and Count

Orchard Toys Catch and Count

Catch and Count by Orchard Toys is a fantastic game for pre-schoolers.  We have played it endlessly since receiving it as a Christmas present.  Spin the Octopus to find out how many bubbles to count, count your bubbles to add fish to your jar…. But watch out, there’s a shark about.

This really encourages counting, hand and eye co-ordination and taking turns.  The illustrations on the cards are fun and vibrant.  This is strongly recommended for all round fun.

Orchard Toys Pick and Mix People

We have just opened the Orchard Toys Pick and Mix People game and it is proving very popular with our two children.  It teaches the little ones different people, for example a witch, a scarecrow and a policeman.

They have to concentrate to remember the correct parts of the body to create a “whole” person.  We have had endless fun with this game.  This game improves fine motor skills, memory and concentration whilst having endless fun.

Orchard Toys Pirate Race Game

Pirate Games for Kids

Exploring this Island with your pirates and a dice is certainly a great way to teach your little ones how to play a game, take turns and rolling the dice encourages them to count as well.

Both of our two children have mastered how to play the game and therefore we have such fun. They enjoy creating their own coloured pirate and sit on the edge of the seat to see who is going to win the treasure first.

One of the best pirate games for kids I have seen.

Orchard Toys At the Stable

Orchard Toys At the Stable

The Orchard Toys At the Stable is a very detailed and interesting puzzle and was a gift for our little boy on his birthday. It has 75 pieces and admittedly he cannot complete this one on his own yet although I am sure he will be able to do so very soon.

I encourage him by asking him questions about different areas of the puzzle, for example, where is the brown horse? What does he eat? Where are his Rosettes? and from there I get him to look for the pieces and we piece it together. He really enjoys this even though it is a large puzzle. It is so detailed and I think even children who don’t know anything about horses will enjoy this fun all inclusive puzzle.

This will definitely be a long lasting puzzle and as always the quality of Orchard Toys Puzzles is great so I know it will with stand toddler handling.
