Diggerland

Diggerland

Love Diggers or hate them, this is the place for you.  Diggerland operates seasonal opening, so check the opening days and times before you promise your little ones a fantastic day out.  From the minute we arrived to the minute we left we loved every minute.

Diggerland

The staff and the Diggerland Marshalls bend over backwards to make your day very special.  When we arrived we were greeted by Duggy and Dotty who were wandering around most of the day.  There are a few coin operated rides which our little girl enjoyed as she is only just on the 80cm mark so was limited with what rides she could go on.

Diggerland

The Digger rides are quite long making it very exciting for the adults as well as the children.  To be controlling a 6 tonne JCB Hydraulic Excavator is quite unbelievable let alone a three year old operating it.  There are many different JCB’s to drive and ride on but if you fancy something totally different, jump aboard the Round a Dig or the off road 4×4 experience.

Diggerland

There is plenty for everyone, whether you want to play safe and drive your own digger, be launched into the sky on the Skyshuttle or for the older children and adults who enjoy an adrenaline rush, The Spindizzy.

Diggerland

We visited on a very hot day so we were very pleased to see they had an indoor play area called The Diggers Den where we could shelter from the sun and have a drink whilst the little ones had fun climbing up and sliding down.  Playing in The Diggers Den would be a great place if it is raining too.  There is a bouncy castle inside with a little slide which our little girl exhausted herself on.

Diggerland

Diggerland has their own café where the food looked very tasty and reasonably priced and there are many picnic tables so it is easy to bring your own food.  Apart from the mud of course Diggerland is very clean including the toilets and baby changing facilities.  Upon exiting we had a look in the shop and again we were very impressed, there was a huge selection and prices ranging from just a £1 so there is the option of buying a small souvenir without breaking the bank.

Diggerland

Our two were so pleased with their certificates and stickers which they were awarded with upon leaving.  Diggerland says there is Buckets of Fun for Everyone, which is exactly what it is.
